DATA PRIVACY ANALYST    

3 YEARS FINANCIAL SERVICES DP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  

£40K- £55K + Bens & Bonus   Essex (80% WFH)

Our client, a leading Financial Services organisations, seeks to recruits an Assistant Data Privacy Officer to support the Company Secretary & Data Protection Officer in ensuring high levels of compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. In a varied role, duties include;  

  • Assisting with the completion and review of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's).
  • Assisting with the management of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) including maintenance of DSAR logs and liaising with outsourced resourcing.
  • Ensuring data protection tasks are completed within statutory or assigned timeframes.
  • Assisting with the ongoing Group data mapping project liaising with departmental staff and utilizing a software solution to build data maps (training will be given)
  • Produce data protection related reports and information summaries.
  • Corresponding with regulators as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of corporate governance activities and processes, including updating and maintaining statutory books for group companies.
  • Assisting with corporate applications and “Know Your Supplier” processes for key third party relationships (e.g., banking, investments, auditing, legal etc.)
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for advice on group company secretarial & data protection policies.
  • Providing company secretarial support to the Information Security and Data Oversight committee, including liaison with the committee chair, preparation of agendas, creation and collation of meeting packs, taking of minutes and following up on action points.
  • Ad hoc projects

You should have 3+ years' experience in a data protection role, some of which must have been from Financial Services The role is 4d pw WFH and one day in their office, 2 min walk from an Elizabeth line station, whilst benefits inc 28 days holiday
