3 MONTH CONTRACT: ACTING HEAD OF COMPLIANCE 

INVESTMENTS AND/OR LIFE & PENSIONS COMPLIANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are exclusively recruiting for our client, a leading financial services firm, seeking an acting Head of Compliance & MLRO. Duties include;

  • Ensure the Compliance function has the correct level of regulatory oversight and that procedures and monitoring activity adequately support the mandatory requirements expected for a regulated financial services business.
  • Ensure regulatory returns are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Review and communicate relevant regulatory developments to ensure the business is prepared for and able to comply with any new requirements.
  • Manage and carry out the Compliance Monitoring Plan in order to analyse the company's compliance with regulatory requirements including FCA obligations, data protection, anti-fraud and money laundering.
  • Analyse regulatory breaches and ensure that remedial actions have been taken to mitigate against future occurrence
  • Maintain the Compliance Manual
  • Produce and present quarterly compliance reports to the Board

 

 

You should have senior Compliance experience in Investments or Life & Pensions, some experience of AML and some knowledge of Data Protection. NB Role is 5 days per week in the office and you should be able to start by early September.
