Our Client, a Global Online Broker, is looking for an experienced Compliance Analyst to join their Compliance Team in London. Assisting the Head of Compliance & MLRO in carrying out a wide variety of AML & broad Compliance activities, duties will include:
- Compliance and AML Monitoring (testing, escalation and report generation) in line with the Regulatory Monitoring Plan;
- Reviewing and approving financial promotions across all media and delivering training;
- Assisting with investigating and resolving client complaints referred to FOS;
- Assisting with the preparation of Compliance policies and procedures;
- Submitting regulatory reports via Gabriel/Connect and co-ordinating other ad hoc regulatory reports;
- Investigating potential sanctions/PEP/Adverse Media matches;
- Carrying out transaction monitoring tasks in accordance with the Transaction Monitoring Policy to ensure the systems and controls to prevent money laundering/financial crime remain adequate;
- Carrying out initial review of any suspicious activity before escalating to the MLRO.
The successful candidate will have gained at least 18 months previous experience either in a similar Generalist Compliance role (any FCA regulated sector) or else more specific AML/KYC experience and now looking to progress into a broader COBS Compliance role in a Securities trading environment.
